Chemical Damp Proof

Chemical DPC

Chemical DPC

A Chemically injected damp-proof course comprises a liquid cream or gel impregnated into the brickwork in sufficient quantity to prevent or restrict the rise of water from the ground by capillary action within the brick or block-work.

Render Replacement. Due to the capillary action which causes "Rising Damp" salts (nitrates, phosphates, chlorides, sulphates) dissolved in the water are deposited within and upon the surface of the room's plasterwork. These salts attract and retain water, hence the plasterwork has to be removed and replaced as part of the Chemical injected DPC process.

A Specialist Render comprising a Hydrophobic sand and cement render incorporating water inhibitor, salt retardant and fungicide completed with a coat of finish plaster is used as an integral part of the DPC system.

Premier Technicians and operatives installing Chemical Damp Proof Courses continually strive to; provide a clean environment together with safe working conditions for Clients and operatives alike. Protection of the Clients' property and welfare are of paramount importance and continually assessed by our Supervisors and Managers.

Rising damp can easily be wrongly diagnosed and mistaken for Condensation or a building maintenance defect.

Let the experience of Premier Preservation be your guide in directing you to the specification and costs that are suitable to both you and the inherent circumstances involved.
